K – Grade 2

Program run (January and February) Saturday mornings in Edmeston.
Scheduled for minimum 6 Saturday mornings from 8 – 9:20 am for practice/games.
Expect to start January 9th, running minimum 6 consecutive weeks. 
Learn dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and other basic points about the game.
Split up players and scrimmage as time and skill level permits during the practices.
Program held in new gym.  Old gym only if new gym not available.
We need parent participation with coaching assistance, setup and cleanup.


Grades 3 & 4

Likely a 6 game schedule between Morris, CherryValley-Springfield
and Richfield Springs.  Others may be available. (Cooperstown for
the boys) Focus is to learn dribbling, passing, shooting, defense
and other points about the game.  Practices start in December in the
old gym.  Other facilities may be used. 
Games usually played Saturday’s. Teams split between boys and girls.
Games scheduled in Edmeston to be played in the old gym. 
Parents responsible for travel arrangements.
First game likely January 9, 2010.  Games possible in December


Grades 5 & 6

Run program in Edmeston with games home and away against Morris,
Laurens, Milford, Cherry-Valley-Springfield and Richfield Springs. 
8 games scheduled. 
Learn dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, how to play under a structured offense and defense while learning other points about the game.
Practice during the week, likely in the old gym.  Other facilities may be used.
Games held in Edmeston will be played in the new gym.
Game usually Saturday afternoons. Teams split between boys and girls. Parents responsible for transportation.
First game likely January 9, 2010.  Games possible in December


Cost:$15.00for first child in family
                   $10 00for each additional child within same family

Covers insurance, T-shirt and equipment.
Bake Sales will be scheduled to help cover our costs.
