The Tri-Town Youth Commission has been serving the youth of the Edmeston Central School District since 1998. The Youth Commission was established as a focal point on all aspects of recreation for the youth of the district through planning, coordinating and supplementing activities devoted to the welfare and protection of the youth.
The Commission has successfully received state grants for improvement of the community's facilities, such as the Edmeston and West Edmeston Little League fields.
Grants from national and local supporters were obtained for Safe Night events held at Edmeston Central School The Commission has been instrumental in providing the youth with recreational sports opportunities such as our own Little League baseball programs; as well as, an indoor soccer league through the Norwich YMCA and outdoor soccer programs through the Cooperstown Soccer Club. The Commission also runs the Edmeston Recreational Basketball League for youth 12 and under.
The Youth Commission would like to thank the community for your strong support.
The Commission meets the first Thursday of each month at the Edmeston Central School. We encourage parents and guardians to attend.
